BellWether Gallery

Let's ROLL!

This past Friday night was the JUNE ArtWalk in downtown Springfield. Art, music, gallery shows, ect., ect.

As you can see, when we arrived downtown at a little past seven, the streets were alive with pavement and cars. That’s because everyone was crammed inside the BellWether Gallery admiring Dennis Jones artwork! It seemed that Dennis’ art was heavily guarded by a couple of violinists, and cello players.

Also of note, there was some nice SMOOTH JAZZ playing next door and the guy with the acoustic guitar kept playing HOTEL CALIFORNIA over and over and over.

All in all, it was an eclectic evening which is just downright hard to put into words… but let me try… stunning, sweaty, smashing, sensational, steamy, sordid, and superb!

It is always a good idea to have folks with sharp violin and cello bows to fend off anyone wanting to get too close to the valuable artwork. Good thinking there!

Don’t machine guns fit in those cello cases?

I think you had a lot of good, thumbs up reviews from what I could tell, Den.

Wish I was there. Would be fun to finally see the work in person.
