March Mole Madness

It’s that time of year that madness fills the air. It usually appears like this in the written word: *x%x#$ W %#$*x%x $&% (#$% !!

For some it involves basketball, for others it entails the on-going battle with MOLES in the yard! The Brother Jones grounds crew broke out the Cub Cadet over the weekend for the first assault on the massive “ground swells.” I believe this ticked the little buggers off ‘cause Monday morning we had all new mole runs with extra dirt kicked around to add insult to injury.

I may stoop to Carl’s technique in Caddyshack and flood these bad boys. Stay tuned…

...I seem to remember Carls technique involved plastic explosives… now if that’s what you’ve got in mind let me know and I’ll drive up and watch…

Have tried the explosives and tried to smoke them out in prior years. Last year we resorted to hiring the “got moles” exterminator. This year we have some traps that I got on Ebay. I will let you know if that works.

This is all just a lame excuse to watch one of the greatest movies ever made again!

What’s up with moles? We never had them till recently and now there are bumps all over the yard. And now I find little signs in yards that advertise the mole exterminator someone used.

How does that Ebay mole trap work?

Upon further inspection, our yard demoleition is quite extensive.

I am prepared to use explosives. Wonder if you need a permit in Christian county?
