This catalog insert was one of the most fun pieces I produced while at Bass Pro — A real nice addition to the portfolio, Clark.
They had a huge overstock of discarded rubber worms and decided to sell them off in coffee cans. We slapped a BPS sticker on front of the can and photographed it in an upward fashion to give it that larger-than-life majestic feel … ran some wire in a few of the worms and bent them into action … added pleasing green glowing background … and VOILA! They sold tons of these at $9.95 each. Such a deal.
