When our Dad bought his first black and white television for the family he was unable to negotiate any sort of discounted price. It was in his blood to want some sort of "deal" so he asked for and received this ceremic light which was displayed on top of the tv.
This coveted family heirloom reminds me of the many hours of viewing pleasure in the garage converted t.v. room. I love this flying bird light. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't share my keen appreciation for home decor.
